This project began when a UK-based wedding and lifestyle photographer realised her existing brand and website were no longer aligned with the clients she wanted to attract. Her original name-based brand was causing confusion online due to another photographer with the same name, which led to incorrect reviews appearing and a diluted sense of credibility. On top of that, the website positioned her as “everything for everyone,” making it harder to connect with her ideal audience of weddings, maternity, newborn, and family clients.
The rebrand focused on creating a more distinctive and emotionally led brand identity that would attract the right clients while clearly differentiating her within a competitive market. From there, the Showit website was redesigned with clear service pathways, emotional storytelling, and an SEO-first structure to support long-term visibility and growth.
Since the launch of the new Showit website, Sophie has seen a clear shift in both visibility and enquiries, with consistent interest coming directly through the contact form and ongoing positive feedback on the new brand and website experience.
From a search perspective, the website has already started to generate measurable SEO improvements, including ranking for “High Peak wedding photographer” (previously unranked, now position #39) and appearing in search results for the client’s own brand name, which is an important early milestone in SEO performance.
It’s also worth noting that the client does not currently have a blog in place, which is one of the most effective long-term SEO tools for building keyword authority and increasing organic visibility. Even without this in place, the website is already beginning to rank organically, including position #39 for “High Peak wedding photographer”. This shows early SEO traction from structure, on-page optimisation and strong website foundations.
Most importantly, the website has helped reposition the business towards more aligned enquiries, with a stronger focus on wedding and family photography. This reflects a clearer niche direction and more intentional client targeting.
The client is now seeing increased booking activity and a more consistent flow of enquiries, particularly for upcoming wedding and lifestyle work, which shows stronger demand and improved visibility compared to before the redesign.
